Banana screen

The SX series Banana screen, also known as the linear equal-thickness vibrating screen, employs a screen surface consisting of multiple sections with different inclination angles arranged in a segmented manner. Its longitudinal cross-section takes on a polyline shape, with the screen surface adopting a banana shape. this design ensures a consistent material layer thickness from the feed end to the discharge end, significantly enhancing the screen screening efficieney and processing capacity. It is particularly suitable for grading parti-cle sizes in large and medium-sized materials with a high content of fine particles. It can also be used for dewatering, descaling and desliming operations (fine particles refer to particles with sizes less than half of the screen hole size).

The SX series banana feed ramp allows higher screening speed and thinner material layering as more material passes through the ramp. Because the bulk material passes through the steep slope faster, this early layering brings the fine particles closer to the screen surface faster and can pass through the gap relatively unhindered, so the banana-shaped linear vibrating screen has a very high screening efficiency and 1.5 to 2times higher than the traditional grading screen.
